All meals, drinks and snacks are prepared on-site by our chef and NHS accredited.
Our outdoor environment offers space to explore and take safe risks with the support of our team, aiding child development.
Our Sensory Room is a relaxing space providing a unique sensory experience with activities and equipment to explore, engaging and stimulating children’s senses.
Our parent room is a dedicated safe space for us to get to know your family and you to speak in confidence with our nursery team about your child's nursery life.
Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

Book Extra Sessions Online
We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.
The fees you pay include all meals, drinks, and snacks prepared on-site by our nursery chef. We understand the importance of filling little tummies with healthy, nutritious foods which will support their overall growth and development, which is why we encourage eating well within our setting.
Get a taste of what your child could expect to eat while at Busy Bees Reading:
Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.
Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, with a drink of milk or water.
Tuna pasta bake, or mixed bean and vegetable bake with peas and sweetcorn, followed by seasonal fresh fruit, with a drink of water.
Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks with a drink of milk or water.
Early Evening Snack
Herby mixed potato wedges and roasted red peppers with ranch dip, followed by apples and sultanas, with a drink of water.

At our Reading Day nursery, we are incredibly lucky to have spacious outdoor space for children of all ages to play and discover. With a range of climbing frames, grassy areas for football or bikes, to tractor tires, there is a whole range of possibilities to allow children to explore and take safe risks under supervision.
We encourage children to get outdoors as much as possible, as we know the importance of fresh air and exercise for both the mind and body, so you’ll often find your child running and playing with their friends in the outdoor areas.
