Hello, I am Barbara, the Centre Director of Busy Bees at St Davids Park.
I have been in the childcare industry for almost 16 years now and had the privilege of working with children ages between 3months to 5 years. During this time I have held a variety of roles across all of the different rooms. I have worked my way up to my current position gaining valuable experience along the way.  I am the mum of one, now in school who I spend as much time with as possible.
I have a Level 4 in Children’s Care Learning and Development and a Level 5 in leadership and management. In addition to this, I have training and certificates in First Aid, First Aid at work, SEND/ALN, NMS/EYFS, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. I am also the designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery.
I have worked for Busy Bees since 2022 I am passionate about having a well organised learning environment and child led play, it is the team's desire to provide a home from home experience for all our children at the nursery and to have close working relationships with our parents. We treat all children as unique individuals and build excellent relationships with our families, helping the children to feel safe and secure.  I will continue to support the team at St Davids to ensure we provide the best possible care for our children, ensuring the Best Start in Life.
