Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 2 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees at Chafford Hundred

At our day nursery in Chafford Hundred, we provide snacks, meals, and drinks for your child during their day with us, all of which are included in your nursery fees. 

Ensuring children have access to nutritious meals is essential for their busy days. Our seasonal menus, accredited by the NHS, are not only delicious but also packed with the natural goodness essential for growing children. These menus feature locally sourced ingredients and are meticulously prepared on-site by our skilled nursery chef.  

If your child has specific dietary requirements or allergies, our chef is more than willing to accommodate. Just reach out to your Centre Manager to find out more.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Grays are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

"Busy bees drake road has been such an amazing experience. All of the staff are so attentive to our son, not just his key worker, and have really helped us feel comfortable leaving our first child at nursery. The office ladies are lovely too, always stopping to chat and keeping us properly updated. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area "
