Director

Sophie Lemon

Hi, my name is Sophie and I am the Centre Director.

I've been working in the early years sector since 2012, starting as an apprentice and gradually progressing through various roles to become a nursery manager. Throughout my journey, my passion has always been rooted in creating welcoming, nurturing environments where both children and their families feel truly at home.

I believe every day should be filled with rich, engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and joy in young minds. Becoming a mum myself—first in July 2022, and again in February 2025—completely transformed my perspective. It deepened my commitment to treating every child with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

Beyond my work with children, I’m equally dedicated to supporting staff. I’ve always prioritised team well-being, professional development, and creating a positive workplace culture. I find genuine fulfilment in coaching and mentoring others—there’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone grow into their full potential. A few years ago, I completed a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Early Years, with a particular focus on mentoring and staff development.
