The ‘highly committed team’ at Busy Bees Coventry Walsgrave have been praised by Ofsted inspectors as the nursery secured its second ‘Outstanding’ rating.
Staff at the 125-place centre, in the grounds of Walsgrave University Hospital, received recognition for their passion in ‘delivering the best possible learning experience’ for the children.
Centre Director Claire Shaw said: “We are thrilled to have maintained our Outstanding grade in recognition of the ongoing commitment of our team of professional educators.
“We are especially proud that the inspectors noted our effective partnership with parents. We believe this co-ordinated approach is vital to delivering the high standards of early years care and education that gives every child the best start in life.”
Feedback from parents was that they are ‘thrilled with the service’ and ‘exceptional efforts’ from the nursery, speaking with ‘pride and pleasure’ about their children’s progress and achievements. They shared their positive experience of information sharing and say they ‘receive several updates about their child throughout the day’.
The inspectors commented on how well prepared the children are for moving rooms and starting school, with staff aiding a smooth transition and supporting the children’s emotional health and well-being.
Children’s progress is carefully monitored and they receive ‘exceedingly well planned and targeted extra support’ when required, ensuring ‘all children, including those with special education needs and/or disabilities, receive the help and support they need to make rapid progress’.
