We offer government funded places for children aged 9 months to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

Food at Busy Bees in Braintree

We understand how tricky it can be to get children to eat the right food to support and enhance their overall learning and development. Our inventive nursery chef thinks of ways to get little ones’ tummies feeling full of goodness. 

The fees you pay include all meals, drinks and snacks prepared on site by our nursery chef.snacks. If your child has any specific dietary requirements, please contact the Centre Director who would be happy to discuss safe alternatives.

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge

Morning Snack 

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, with a drink of milk or water

Lunch

Garlic bread, followed by loaded mac and cheese (vegetarian option available) served with green beans, with a drink of water.

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks, with a drink of milk or water.

Early Evening Snack

Salmon mayo and sweetcorn wrap or cheese wrap, with mixed peppers and carrot sticks, followed by peaches, strawberries and yoghurt. With a drink of water.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Braintree are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.
