Meet the team

Vicky Pyne

Centre Director

Hello my Name is Vicky Pyne; I first came to Ragstone House in March 2001, where I joined as nursery assistant helping out qualified staff throughout the day. I was then offered training by the company. I now have a level 3 NVQ in Childcare and a BTEC level 3 in Leadership and Management. As years went on i have progressed through the setting form practitioner to room leader, senior staff member, assistant manager and back in 2017 I became centre director.

As well as having the role of centre director, I’m also the nursery SEND coordinator, Health and safety officer. With both these roles I work alongside inside and outside agencies.

Being at Ragstone House for such a long time I’ve seen so many children pass through our doors and move onto to their next adventure in life, I feel humbled that myself and my team have played a  part in that.

I see my centre as a family, a home from home that enables children to grow and develop in an environment that enriches the mind and is full of love.

I have worked for Ragstone House since September 2003 years. I have a NVQ 3 in childcare and currently work in the baby room . I really enjoy seeing our babies reach mile stones and enjoying the different activities we offer. Our sensory time has to be the best part of the day, the babies really love the colours, lights and different textures.
