Nursery in Nottingham, Nottingham University

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year now, having started when she was 7 months old. Sending your baby full-time to nursery at that age can be daunting, but right from the get-go everyone has been so welcoming, supportive, and reassuring. She's grown, developed, and learned so much since joining. It's wonderful to see how confidently she interacts with both the staff and other children of all ages. What really stands out is how every member of staff makes a real effort to get to know all the children - even those not in their main room. It creates such a warm, familiar atmosphere throughout the whole nursery. The food is also fantastic, so varied and nutritious. It really helped with weaning, and now my daughter eats absolutely everything! The team truly go above and beyond, not just for the children but for the parents too, which makes such a difference. Seeing how happy and engaged all the children are really says it all. Our experience has been incredibly positive.

Busy Bees at Nottingham Uni is a wonderful, welcoming environment for little ones. The team go above and beyond to make sure children feel safe and looked after, all the way up to the management level. We have found communication both easy and friendly, while the rooms are clean, spacious and child-friendly. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery on or close to the campus.

We always feel safe leaving our son at this nursery. The environment is transparent and well-structured. Our son is cared for by different people, not just one person, which gives us confidence. We never felt like outsiders. Children are not overloaded with academic information; play-based learning is the focus. Parents are not bombarded with daily photos and videos. Everything is calm, natural, and truly child-centered.

Staff are really friendly and have given my son fantastic care since January 2022, and are now helping him to prepare for going to school. The food always seems great and my son enjoys it. I'd like to hear more about the learning elements (phonics and number work mainly) that they do in preschool (buzz) but other than that I'm very happy with everything they've done for my son.

My son has been attending busy bees at UoN for the last year, the staff have been fantastic from the start, caring and patient, especially his first key person, Aishah. He has moved up to the toddler room and talks excitedly about his day, lots of activities and a nutritious menu. Communication and support has been great from management. It’s easy to book additional nursery days when needed. We’re very happy to have chosen Busy Bees and recommend to others 🙂

A brilliant nursery, the whole staff are fantastic, caring, friendly and nurturing. Highly recommend to other parents.

Lovely staff, my child loves them

Really lovely environment. Both my children have attended this site and the core team have looked after both, almost 5 years apart. Becca, Lindsay, Aishah, Becka, Jade, Nicola and the whole team are so lovely and friendly and my 2 year old loves her time there. Thanks team 🙏🏻 🥰
