Nursery in Dundee

I have used the nursery for a little over three and a half years for my eldest and around 5 months for my youngest the staff are great with not my kids, always listen to our requests. My eldest seemed to have a little bother with the room transitions in the younger rooms but the staff ensured they had extra time for these transitions. As far as my youngest I cannot give the nursery staff enough credit! My youngest has a slightly complex medical history and the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure they settled in to the nursery fine and that all their needs are met! Most recent example of this is management staff personally calling ahead of pick up to inform me there is a case chicken pox been confirmed in my older child's room, as these kinds of illness can affect my younger child more harshly they wanted to give me a heads up as a precaution. All staff are very approachable and understanding. Every child matters to all staff and it can be seen!

The staff are wonderful and look after the children as if it were their own. My daughter loves going in every day and she's learnt so much and is developing so so well. The nursery does so many fun days for parents to be involved in and share photos of your child on the app so you can see what they are up to. Would highly recommend!

Excellent nursery. Professional staff, with modern premises and use of IT to communicate with parents. Both our children attended here and the nursery helped with their development. Would recommend. Useful for NHS staff and if you work at Ninewells hospital its ideal.

The best nursery in Dundee by a mile! The induction/settling-in process was great and straightforward. The communications between us and the nursery are always prompt and clear. ALL staff, especially Molly, Daria, Hannah and Courtney are fantastic and my daughter adores them all. Courtney (Centre Manager) always keeps us right in terms of processes and formalities. Busy Bees always keeps us informed about our daughter's day and development as well as events via verbal handovers, updates on the app and monthly newsletters. The environment is great. Rooms are spacious and bright; full of toys, arts and crafts, books and anything that a child would desire. The garden is the best feature. Lots of space to run around and play. They have 2 separate rooms for preschoolers: 3-4 room and 4-5 room which I think is amazing. Although separate, they do often play together. They constantly ask for parent feedback which is a good opportunity to share your views. Stay and play sessions are organised regularly. The cost per day is definitely competitive. They do free childcare hours for 3-5 yo and you can also pay via the government's tax-free childcare account. Overall, we are very happy with the care and service that Busy Bees Dundee West have provided.

Our son has settled so well into busy bees Dundee and it’s completely down to the fantastic staff that work with him. It took him a while to settle but the staff persevered with him and now he loves his time there. I never thought I’d be ok leaving him with people I didn’t know but the staff at Dundee have been so welcoming and kind with him that now I don’t worry about him at all during his time there. He is well fed, well cared for, well entertained and just generally very happy there.
