Director

Tess

Hi my name is Tess and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees in Deeping St James.

I’ve spent the last eight wonderful years working in nurseries, and I’ve genuinely loved every second. Early years childcare has always been my passion — there’s nothing quite like walking into a room full of bright smiles, busy imaginations, and the joy that only little ones can bring. I have previously developed two nurseries into beautiful, thriving, and highly successful settings, and I truly flourish when finding new and creative ways to provide the very best for every child in my care.

I take a nurturing, hands-on approach to childcare and strive to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to explore. Last year, I proudly graduated with my Bachelor Honours Degree, and I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned — along with lots of real-world experience — to my Busy Bees family.
When I’m not painting masterpieces with tiny artists or building towers taller than me, you’ll usually find me walking along the beach with my dog or squeezing in a good workout at the gym, inbetween reading and spending time with my family. I love staying active, exploring the outdoors, and finding new ways to bring creativity and energy into everything I do.
